Starting Sept. 26, 2024, you can finally add a more accurate address using your pinned location.

How can the auto pin location feature help me?

The auto pin location ensures that your delivery address is accurately identified, reducing the chances of delivery errors and ensuring faster and more efficient service.

Can I manually adjust my pinned location if it's incorrect?

Yes, when you select a pin, you will have the option to adjust the pin by dragging & zooming in/out based on your preference.

Will the edamama app track my location all the time?

The app only uses your location when necessary, such as during checkout, to confirm your delivery address. Your location data is not tracked continuously.

Is my location data stored securely?

Yes! You may rest assured that edamama prioritizes your privacy and security. Your location data is used solely for the purpose of improving service accuracy and is stored securely in compliance with data protection regulations.

Do I need to enable location services to use this feature?

Yes, location services must be enabled on your device to use the geotagging feature. You can enable or disable this feature at any time in your device settings.

What if I don’t want to share my location?

If you choose not to enable location services, you can manually enter your address as usual. Rest assured, there will be no impact on your order delivery when entering the address manually.

What happens to my current address in the app if I place a new order?

You will be asked to update your address during checkout to ensure that we deliver your address to the correct location.

Can I still add a new address?

Of course! You can add a new address by using the pin location and/or by entering it manually.

As a first-time customer, what error message will I receive if my location is outside the serviceable area?

  • For unserviceable Area"This area is currently unserviceable for delivery" error will be shown.


  • This error indicates that delivery is not available to the selected location. If you encounter this error, please select an alternative delivery address.

  • For area not found in the edamama database: “Area cannot be detected” error will be shown.

  • If you encounter this, please input your address manually or choose a different location.

Can I save multiple addresses in my account and select my preferred one during checkout?

Yes! you will be able to save multiple addresses and select your preferred one during checkout. The same as your current experience.

Will this update affect my current active/ongoing orders?

No, your existing address will still be used for active and ongoing orders.
